Having re-read the previous commentary defining what a legacy brand is, the wheels almost instantly began churning about and thinking how we as individuals co-opt our personal legacies, our past really, and how that can help or hinder our personal brand. We all have a past, we all have a history some of us accept it for whatever it is, some run from it, some embrace it. Our belief is that it’s always better to work with what you’ve got, be real, be honest. There have been a thousand hollywood movies where the protagonist runs from their past, and those movies rarely end well (Sort of channeling Kill Bill right now). Honesty and authenticity, the very best brands have both of those and you should too.
